The supervisor's office can also assist with additional transportation needs if contacted this week. Groups may wish to arrive before the show and take in the fair, or stay after the show as the fair begins to disassemble at 3:30PM. Groups should probably drop off in the rear of the theatre (the alley between 5th and 6th streets, and walk up the side alley towards 6th street and the theatre entrance. There is one (single use) handicap restroom on the main lobby level. Additional restrooms are on other floors and only accessible by stairs. There is only room for a few wheelchairs. Space can be created for additional chairs, but it is suggested that if and when possible, walkers and other devices be used and that patrons use the theatre seating if not confined to a wheel chair. The Great Los Angeles Air Raid of 1942 is the museums celebration of one of the most fascinating and controversial events in Los Angeles History. A night when literally thousands of people both Military and Civilian were convinced that Los Angles was being attacked from the air, and even from space. The Great LA Air Raid event is held outdoors, under the stars in the courtyard of the Fort MacArthur Museum. The weather along the Pacific Coast in February can be unpredictable and cold at times. Our story follows Honeybee, a young girl living in Los Angeles with her Native American father as he teaches her the ways of their ancestors. Through the telling of theses ancient stories, father's message is perhaps the most important at this point in human history. It is a story of what happens when people do not listen to nature.
